Lizzi Stevens gained an Honours Degree in Agricultural Botany from Reading University, which included
a good grounding in draughtsmanship and botanical drawing. She has been involved in the art world since leaving University - firstly
running the Alfriston Gallery in East Sussex, and then co- founding both the Crooked House Gallery (now sold to friends)
and Lavenham Contemporary on her move to Suffolk.
She has been creating her own unique artworks for the past few years, concentrating on the worlds of myth and fairytale using collage,
mixed media and found objects. These have gained a wide and enthusiastic following, and her work is marketed worldwide as prints by
London company Rosenstiel's.
